About

I’m a photographer, photo editor, and book maker, living in Woodstock, NY. Originally from upstate New York, I studied undergraduate photography at Bard College and then moved to New York City where I worked as a photographer, photo and bookings editor, and producer. I simultaneously formed, performed, and recorded with the bands Goodnight Gunfight, Childress, and Love Tribe. I then received an MFA from Bard College and The International Center of Photography, where I studied abroad at the École Nationale Supérieure de la Photographie in Arles, France. I now live in the Hudson Valley with my husband and two children.

My photography spans a wide range of subjects, but ultimately was inspired by the first photographer I fell in love with at age 8. Bruce Wrighton was a family friend, an 8x10 film photographer from my hometown of Binghamton, NY. While I incorporate the diversity of tones, and messages that photography can convey, my passion has always been people, our environments, and the mutual influence that these things have upon each other. I drawn from my experience being raised in upstate NY, the history or our land and people, as well as the history of photography, and it’s powerful ability to create and tell stories.
